Milica Stefanovic, MD

A Board certified psychiatrist with 35 years of clinical experience, and founder of Minerva Mental Health, Dr. Stefanovic began her career in Eastern Europe. She continued in the melting pot of New York City where she worked at New York Presbyterian Hospital, and served on the faculty of Columbia University, doing clinical work and teaching psychiatry in the finest academic setting. In 2005, she received the "Nancy Roeske, MD" certificate, an annual award by the American Psychiatric Association for excellence in teaching and academic psychiatry.

Dr. Stefanovic also worked for the Health Hospital Corporation of NYC, developing and managing programs for in-patient psychiatry. In 2011, she developed and implemented the first in-patient program for pregnant and postpartum women in the public health setting in NY State.
